I’m the direct recruiter for a Senior QAQC Manager- lead role in a major initiative hurricane-damage rebuild of Andersen Air Force Base in Guam.


Compensation to $120K or more + paid transportation, housing, and travel


As Senior QAQC Manager contracted through Austability ( https://austability.com/Β ) a global provider of resource services to military & government agencies- you will be responsible for reviewing, overseeing construction, and reporting on all portions of the construction projects.Β  We ALSO have a similar Safety Manager and Contracts Manager core staff role available for this initiative.




HIGHLIGHTS

  • This is initially a 1-year contract leading rebuild of Andersen Air Force Base, but β€œoptional” 3-4+ renewal years may be available; no obligations to renew

  • Review all materials and activities to ensure project accuracy and quality from conception to completion.

  • Management of monitoring/evaluation process to ensure quality management systems are being followed & evidence is recorded/ maintained

  • Provide policy guidance to employees; recommend policy changes/ establish procedures that affect immediate Portfolio

  • Evaluate diverse scope work issues requiring analysis of situation/data

  • Advise subordinates to meet schedules/resolve technical problems

  • Manage coordination of Subcontractor QC programs to be in compliance with requirements

  • Oversees the reporting of Subcontractors' QC reports/testing

  • Coordination with Client QA Inspection services.

Requirements

REQUIREMENTS

5+ years federal construction projects QC experience plus a heavy civil engineering background to include:


  • Ability to plan/prepare/analyze documents & write submittals/RFIs/work plans

  • OSHA 30 & CPR Certification

  • USACE QCM Certified

  • Army Corp of Engineer CQC

  • Ability to obtain/maintain required clearances to enter US Military Installations

  • U.S. Citizen/Valid driver’s license
