Responsibilities and more:
β’ Develop and execute automated test scripts using Cypress to ensure product quality and reliability.
β’ Perform manual and functional testing of SaaS-based applications as needed to complement automated testing efforts.
β’ Create detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on product requirements and user stories.
β’ Identify, document, and track software defects using defect tracking tools like Jira or Azure DevOps.
β’ Collaborate with development and product teams to understand requirements, provide feedback, and ensure testability of new features.
β’ Maintain and enhance existing automated test suites to improve test coverage and efficiency.
β’ Conduct regression testing to validate that new features and bug fixes do not negatively impact existing functionality.
β’ Integrate automated testing processes into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous deployment practices.
β’ Participate in test case reviews and provide feedback to improve the quality and coverage of test cases.
β’ Communicate test results, automation progress, and findings clearly to team members and stakeholders.
β’ Stay updated on the latest advancements in Cypress and other testing frameworks to continually improve automation capabilities.
β’ Support the continuous improvement of QA processes, tools, and methodologies within the team.
Additional Skills:
β’ Strong proficiency in automated testing using Cypress.
β’ Proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript.
β’ Experience in working with code management tools (Github).
β’ Experience in manual testing with a focus on validating SaaS-based applications.
β’ Hands-on experience with Jira or Azure DevOps for managing user stories and test activities.
β’ Familiarity with integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
β’ Strong defect tracking and resolution skills.
β’ Experience with performance testing or API testing frameworks (Postman).
β’ Experience with test-cases management tools (TestRail).
β’ Familiarity with additional tools such as Mailtrap, Figma.
β’ Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
β’ Nice to have: experience with additional testing automation tools (Selenium, Cucumber).
