Data QA Engineer

We are looking for a Data QA Engineer to join our team and ensure the quality and reliability of our data-driven solutions. You will collaborate closely with Data Analysts and Data Engineers to develop robust testing strategies, automate test cases, and drive best practices in data quality assurance.

Key Responsibilities

• Work with Data Analysts and Engineers to design and implement test plans and strategies.
• Develop, document, and execute manual and automated test cases.
• Conduct thorough testing within set timelines and generate detailed test reports.
• Manage defect tracking and collaborate with product teams to resolve issues.
• Prepare and maintain test data to support comprehensive testing.
• Regularly communicate project status and escalate issues when necessary.
• Provide technical leadership and consultation on quality practices and automation techniques.
• Develop and enhance automation frameworks for regression testing.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and quickly adapt to new tools.
• Work as a team player, thriving in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of experience in SQL development for data analysis.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Snowflake and BigQuery.
• 2+ years of experience with Python and Jupyter Notebooks.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
