Role summary:Β
We are looking for a detail-oriented QA Engineer to support our growing QA function and contribute to delivering high-quality software within an agile development environment. You will work closely with Developers, Solutions Engineers and QA Engineers to ensure testing is fully embedded in our Scrum process, focusing on both manual and automated testing tasks.Β
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a foundational understanding of software testing and who is eager to grow in a fast-paced, collaborative, and quality-driven environment. You will be involved in the end-to-end QA process, including test planning, test case execution, defect reporting, and contributing to automated test scripts under the guidance of senior QA colleagues. The ideal candidate is a proactive, curious learner with a strong attention to detail, a willingness to take initiative, and a collaborative mindset.Β
The QA Engineer will:Β
- Participate in planning and refinement sessions to understand user stories and define test cases as part of the Definition of Done.Β
- Execute manual tests and contribute to the maintenance and development of automated test scripts under supervision.Β
- Identify, document, and track software defects in a clear and structured manner.Β
- Collaborate closely with Developers, Solutions Engineers and QA Engineers to troubleshoot issues and verify fixes.Β
- Support the QA team in regression, smoke, and exploratory testing efforts across different releases.Β
- Help ensure test cases and test documentation are current and aligned with evolving product requirements.Β
- Learn and apply agile testing principles and participate actively in Sprint activities.Β
- Maintain transparency of test results and defect status to stakeholders through QA tools and dashboards.Β
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the QA team.
Desired qualifications & skillset
- A degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience in QA/testing.Β
- 2 years of professional experience in software testing (internships, projects, or entry-level roles are acceptable).Β
- Familiarity with QA methodologies, types of testing (functional, regression, exploratory), and bug-tracking systems (e.g., Jira).Β
- Basic knowledge of test automation tools and scripting (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, or equivalent) is a plus.Β
- Understanding of web applications and APIs is a bonus.Β
- Eagerness to learn, adapt, and grow within a structured QA framework.Β
- Good communication and teamwork skills.Β
- Detail-oriented mindset with a passion for quality.Β
