Magnus-Metal Ltd. is reinventing metal casting. It is a well funded early-stage deep tech start-up, with a mission to drive heavy metal casting industry towards the 21st century. Magnus-Metal revolutionary “Digital Casting” technology will replace the traditional casting with fully automated “CAD to Part” systems. Magnus-Metal machine is comprised of proprietary mission heads and heavy duty motion systems to cast metal parts automatically.

Magnus-Metal has proven the “Digital Casting” process and technology. We are currently gathering outstanding professionals to join our multi-disciplinary R&D team on the path to industrialize the solution.

Magnus SW & Algorithms team is developing CAD models analysis & preparation for “Digital Casting” application, machine management application and HW control SW packages.

Magnus-Metal is looking for QA Automation Engineer to join our team and play a pivotal role in bringing the “Digital Casting” technology to reality. 

QA Automation Engineer Job Description:

Magnus Metal is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Automation Engineer. He will be Responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts and frameworks to ensure the quality and functionality of software applications. He works closely with development, product owners and QA group to identify testing requirements, automate repetitive tasks, and ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of the testing process.

This role plays a crucial part in ensuring high-quality releases, faster product development cycles, and improved software reliability.

The QA Automation Engineer position is full time position in Magnus-Metal office at Revadim Industrial Park.

Responsibilities:

1. Automated Test Script Development: Create, maintain, and execute automated test scripts for functional, regression, and performance testing using various test automation tools and frameworks.
2. Test Case Creation: Collaborate with Manual QA analysts and developers to understand product requirements and translate them into test cases that can be automated (including running Manual testing).
3. Bug Identification and Reporting: Identify, log, and report defects, and work with development teams to ensure timely resolution of issues (manual and auto).
4. Test Execution and Maintenance: Execute automated and Manual testing regularly, analyze results, and maintain the automation suite to ensure it remains effective and relevant as the application evolves.
5. Collaboration: Work closely with developers, product owners, and other stakeholders to improve product quality and drive efficient testing processes.
6. Test Reporting: Generate detailed test reports, provide insights into software quality, and recommend improvements based on test results.
7. Tool Selection: Evaluate and implement the best automation tools and technologies for specific projects.
8. Performance Testing: Conduct performance, load, and stress testing using automation tools to ensure the software can handle expected user loads.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.

·      At least 3 years of proven experience in QA automation or software development.

·      Experience in the multimilitary industry - Advantage.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Self-driven, Independent.
• Strong communication skills for reporting test results and collaborating with cross-functional teams
• Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies
• Proficiency in programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript, Ruby, etc.) – Advantage 
• Experience with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, Appium, Cucumber, etc.) – Advantage 

·      Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) – Advantage 

·      Knowledge of CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Bamboo, GitLab CI – Advantage 

·      Familiarity with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner) – Advantage
