Job Description

What is this role about?

The Quality Assurance Automation Engineer is responsible for ensuring the reliability, security, and efficiency of our systems and applications by:

• Overseeing the entire quality assurance process, from planning and strategizing to executing and maintaining test protocols.

• Identifying and mitigating potential risks but also ensuring that all software products comply with regulatory standards and industry best practices.

• By implementing testing methodologies and automated solutions.

• Fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement within the development team. This involves mentoring, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and driving the adoption of advanced testing techniques and tools.

• Agile methodologies and test automation.

• Understanding of financial processes allows them to design and execute tests.

• Delivering reliable, high-quality financial services and products to its customers.

Qualifications

What can you bring?

• 5+ years of experience in quality assurance and automation testing, with a strong emphasis on software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes and methodologies.
• Experience with Git (Bitbucket, Github etc.) and CI/CD tools and pipelines (e.g. Bamboo, Github Actions etc.).
• Experience with automation testing of REST APIs, SOAP APIs, Financial messages (AS2805 / ISO8353 standards).
• Experience with Service virtualization/mocking
• Understanding of API security like OAuth 2.0 and cryptographic operations like encryption/decryption, JWE/JWS etc. 
• API testing in cloud environments (preferably AWS)

Although not required, any experience in the following would be considered highly desirable:

• Knowledge of PCI/DSS compliance standards 
• Knowledge of AS2805 / ISO8353 standards 
• Knowledge in payment switches (Postilion or any other similar switches) and its workings. 
• Experience with performance testing (e.g. Jmeter) and automation on CI/CD pipelines.
