We invite applications for the role of Senior Test Automation Engineer to become an integral part of our innovative team. As a key player in this position, you will apply your advanced knowledge of automation frameworks, continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD), and testing methodologies to significantly improve software quality. Your main responsibilities will entail building and sustaining automation frameworks, working in unison with development teams, and guiding less experienced team members to elevate our testing capabilities.
Primary Duties:
- Construct and uphold resilient automation frameworks utilizing Selenium and Robot Framework aimed at optimizing the testing procedure.
- Set up CI/CD pipelines with tools such as Jenkins to boost automation integration effectiveness.
- Create and implement test plans for web applications, APIs, and microservices, ensuring premium quality in software releases.
- Work collaboratively with varied teams, including development, product management, and QA, to define and enhance testing strategies and overall coverage.
- Evaluate test outcomes, diagnose problems, and offer insights for ongoing enhancements.
- Guide and support junior personnel, promoting an environment of growth and creativity.
- Play an active role in the development of optimized and high-efficiency test automation solutions.
Essential Skills:
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in the development and maintenance of automation frameworks like Selenium and Robot Framework.
- Robust knowledge of CI/CD principles, along with hands-on experience with CI/CD solutions such as Jenkins.
- Comprehensive understanding of test automation tools and frameworks, particularly regarding scalability and performance optimization.
- Experience testing web applications, APIs, and microservices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with a focused attention to detail.
- Proficient in Core Java with the ability to produce well-structured and efficient code.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills to thrive in a collaborative environment.
Desirable Qualities:
- Experience working with the Playwright testing framework.
- Understanding of manual testing processes.
- Previous roles in leadership or mentorship, aiding junior team members in their development.
