Job Category
This will be a hybrid role, and this person will need to be located in the Bay Area.
Responsibilities
API Testing:
Design, develop, and execute API tests using Postman to validate API endpoints and data exchange.
- Create and maintain API test suites.
Performance Testing:
- Design, develop, and execute performance tests using JMeter to identify performance bottlenecks and optimize the website's performance.
- Analyze performance test results and provide recommendations for improvement.
Defect Tracking and Reporting:
- Accurately document and report defects using a defect tracking system.
- Provide clear and concise defect reports, including steps to reproduce and screenshots.
- Work closely with the development team to resolve defects.
Test Planning and Design:
- Collaborate with the development team to understand product requirements and create comprehensive test plans and test cases.
Test Automation:
- Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver to test various functionalities of the website.
- Maintain and enhance the existing automation framework.
- Collaborate with the development team to identify test automation opportunities.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in Manual testing.
- 1+ years of experience in Automation testing using Selenium Web Driver
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
- Proficiency in programming languages Java.
- Experience with API testing tools like Postman.
- Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
