About the role:

As a QA Engineer in the Platform department, you will be part of the Reporting&Core team and involved in all aspects of Acumatica's end-to-end QA function, such as automated testing of code changes, development, and support of automated UI/API tests for Acumatica ERP using the C#-based Acumatica Test SDK.

The primary focus of this role is on product knowledge and the QA process, such as regression testing and test results analysis, communication with developers and business analysts on how to test new and existing features or external bugs, preparing reproduction steps and DB backups, and a limited amount of effort spent coding new tests on an existing C#-based framework. Please note that this is not the “developer-in-tests” position; it does not include creating new testing frameworks or new technical approaches for testing.

Job Description

• Automated regression test execution, results analysis, and support.
• Developing new automated tests using C#-based Acumatica Test SDK.
• Test coverage analysis and improvement.
• Bugs analysis to increase test coverage in critical areas.
• Manually test new features and conduct exploratory testing.

Qualifications

• Experience in interaction with developers and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• 2+ years of experience in web application test automation and documentation in any language (e.g., C#/Java/Python).
• Understanding of QA processes, best practices, testing techniques, and methodologies.
• Self-motivation and learning capability, ability to work independently.

Nice to have:

• Experience with ERP, CRM, or similar systems is a plus.
• Knowledge of SQL and REST
• Knowledge of software development lifecycle.
• Positive attitude.
