Job description for Mid-level Test Engineer
· Reports to QA Manager, remains in synchronisation with Sr. Solution Architect, Client Technology Head as well as Client’s teams while delivering assigned tasks to own team
· Work on one or more client projects as per organisation needs
· Requirement understanding and analysis of assigned project
· Generation of test scenarios/cases based on requirements
· Perform single/multiple iteration(s) on Test/UAT environment
· Perform functional and non-functional testing
· Grow own team’s functional knowledge to the best possible, utilise the skills to delivery best quality
· Deliver zero defect quality for the work assigned to you
· Work with Reporting Manager to make sure all required technical standards and other process compliances are met
· Do necessary verbal & written communications with Client and client teams
· Help own team to troubleshoot on solving any critical issues
· Responsible to manage Regression & System Automation Scripts and enhancement as and when needed.
· Provide necessary functional/technical help (office hours and out of office hours) as per needed
· Continue to be an expert on Project specific technologies as well as learn new technologies that are required for Company’s vision and business growth
· Be a role model and remain senior technical and leadership person in the company
· Ensure that you and your team member give best results against Client billing rates Vs salaries we pay to team member. A balance should be maintained in a way that Organisation gets better profits from majority of client billable positions
