QA Engineer (bi-lingual Portugues/English)

Inbenta is a global technology company headquartered in Allen, Texas with offices and team members around the world, the current position is a hybrid position in our Brazil office. We develop an Automatic Language Processing (or Natural Language Processing – NLP) engine, which provides answers to human intentions formulated in natural language. Based on our proprietary and patented technology, Inbenta builds a set of conversational solutions for businesses such as chatbots, knowledge management tools, digital demos, and search engines. Our customers include many global blue-chip companies in Banking, Insurance, Automotive, Services, Retail, Transportation, and other sectors.

You'll create and maintain detailed test plans, design automated test scripts for cutting-edge web applications and REST APIs and execute exploratory and regression tests that keep our products top-notch.

Requirements

Technical Expertise Requirements

• 3-5 years' experience in QA
• Bi-lingual Portugues/English 
• Understanding of full software development lifecycle and agile procedures
• Experience creating and executing a detailed test plan and test scenarios for software requirements
• Deep understanding of web application and REST APIs design and testing tools / practices
• Experiencing designing and implementing automated tests using the page object model design pattern
• Hands-on experiencing designing and implementing automated test scripts using latest automated testing tools, such as Playwright (NodeJS) for UI testing and Postman for API testing or similar tools.
• Experience integrating automated tests scripts with software CI/CD pipelines

Soft-Skill Requirements

• Teamwork-oriented and able to collaborate with a scrum team within an agile development process
• Strong bi-lingual Portugues/English communication skills to guide developers in best QA methodologies and procedures
• Strong desire to learn to stay up to date with latest testing technologies and procedures

Education

College degree in a related field or applicable work experience.
