QA Engineer - Drive Quality in IoT Innovation

I have an In-office opportunity for a QA Engineer to join an organization in Los Colinas area that's at the forefront of automotive technology, making a significant impact in car safety.

Your Role:

• Lead the charge in manual and automated testing for web applications and APIs.

• Develop, execute, and maintain detailed test cases, scripts, and test plans to ensure thorough test coverage.

• Validate API responses and backend functionality using SQL queries.

• Identify, document, and track defects with Jira or similar tools to maintain a high-quality standard.

• Collaborate closely with developers, IT, and product teams to enhance software reliability.

• Work on test automation using Cypress or Selenium to integrate continuous testing into the CI/CD pipeline.

• Ensure data integrity through SQL-based database validation in complex workflows.

What You’ll Need:

• 3+ years of QA experience, focusing on web applications and APIs.

• Strong manual testing skills, with the ability to write and execute detailed test cases.

• SQL expertise for data validation in SQL Server or MySQL.

• Experience with test automation frameworks like Cypress or Selenium.

• Familiarity with TestRail, Jira, and other test management tools.

• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Exposure to CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).

• Experience with REST API testing tools (Postman, Swagger).

• Familiarity with performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner).

• Scripting knowledge in JavaScript, Perl, Python, or Java for automation.
