QA Engineer

RWS are looking to hire an experienced and talented Quality Assurance Engineer. You will work as part of a distributed agile team leading the development of one of RWS’s internal systems. As a system that is constantly evolving you will be a key member of its functional enhancement and its technical evolution. As the QA Engineer you will be responsible for ensuring the application meets and exceeds the quality standards expected.

Key Responsibilities

• Creating and managing the product test plans
• Carrying out test plans
• Managing and reporting testing progress
• Reporting progress and identifying, escalating and removing obstacles that might endanger the agreed release date
• Active team participation including attending daily stand up meetings
• Working closely with developers to identify and resolve issues

Skills & Experience

• Strong Testing background with an excellent understanding of the Test Lifecycle and Testing Best Practices.
• Experience of working within an agile environment.
• Experienced in defining Quality Assurance deliverables producing quality Test artefacts.
• Experience with Test planning and end to end testing.
• Experience creating different sets of tests, functional, performance etc.
• Experience using Azure DevOps
• Excellent English communication skills, both verbally and written
• Team player mentality in an open plan office
• Problem solving skills, keeping an overview with an eye for detail

Desirable

• Automated testing frameworks, Selenium, Puppeteer
• API testing with Postman
• Javascript and NodeJS knowledge
• Understanding of source control management tools, specifically Git
