freiheit+ is a corporate start-up in Hamburg and part of the listed ZEAL Network SE. We are building a social lottery that provides extra freedom. 20% of our sales go directly to the license holder "BildungsChancen gGmbH". This supports initiatives such as "SOS - KinderdΓΆrfer" worldwide, the "Deutschen Kinder- und Jugendstiftung" and the "Stifterverband". The role:

We are looking for a QA Engineer (f/m/d) to join our freiheit+ team. In this specific role you will be part of a cross-functional team being responsible for ensuring the quality of our frontends and their respective user experience.Β 

Your tasks:

  • Technically design, develop, maintain automated tests, complemented by manual testing.

  • Collaborate within a dynamic, cross-functional team including Product Managers, Engineers, UX Designers and Data Analysts in our agile environment, actively contributing to the development of new products and frontends.

  • Shape and refine our test strategies for the frontend, with a keen focus on delivering a seamless user experience for our customers while preventing any unwelcome surprises.

  • Act according to security, usability, and performance best practices to guarantee a superb user experience.

  • Expand and nurture build pipelines, enabling tests for other teams and offer own tests for integration into their pipelines.

  • Keep your skills sharp and be on top of the latest technological trends.Β 

What you offer us:Β 

  • A strong background in testing web applications.

  • Hands-on experience in creating and maintaining automated frontend tests.

  • Proficiency in the Playwright test framework using TypeScript.

  • A solid grasp of working within a microservices environment where features are frequently and rapidly released (continuous delivery).

  • An enthusiasm for collaborative work within self-organized teams, coupled with the willingness to shoulder responsibility.

  • Excellent communication skills in English, fostering a collaborative and cooperative atmosphere.Β Β
