CENTRL Inc. seeks QA Engineer for its Mountain View, CA office.
Execute end-to-end manual and automated Privacy & BNM 360 Module testing, and participate throughout all phases of bug resolution, from the platform’s development to deployment. Analyze Privacy, Platform & BNM 360 module requirements, prepare query lists, yield information to enable effective testing procedures, and ensure that the test requirements match testing objectives. Complete test plans with a detailed understanding of CENTRL’s testing workflow (including test strategy, environment requirements, test schedule, functions to be tested and deliverables). Forge tests cases to compare the actual results with the ones outlined in the test cases and log defects if system bugs surge. Maintain test cases to keep them up to date with current releases, communicate defects with CENTRL’s Support Team to subsequently verify that the logged defects and the client reported issues are fixed. Hold release demos at the end of every iteration and demonstrate the end product to CENTRL’s key stakeholders. Support CENTRL’s automation team in creating and maintaining test suites. Maintain and handle automated functional and load tests for restful APIs (Application Programming Interfaces). Add new scripts to each release to increase automation coverage for the assigned module. Interface with CENTRL’s development teams and contractors to make sure development work for client products is accurately being implemented as designed by the engineering team. Leverage customer feedback (received from the support team) to drive product development and create reports on specific issues or functionalities to ensure that CENTRL’s products are continuously evolving. Assist CENTRL’s test managers in creating and verifying dashboards projecting test project status reports and metrics. Requires Master’s degree or foreign degree equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related. Must also have advanced knowledge (gained from academic coursework, research project, teaching assistantship, or practical training through internship or co-op) of: Software Development Lifecycle; Macro-Level System Architecture; Design of Reusable Systems; Analysis and Specification of Software Requirements; Software Testing Techniques ranging from Unit Testing to Regression Testing; and Application of Formal Methods.
