Job description
Responsibilities:
Knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases
Hands-on experience with black box testing
Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
Preparing Test Data for the test cases
Analyzing the Test Cases prepared by other team members
Report errors in bug tracking tool and track the issues to closure incl. support of defect investigation, validate defect fixes and analyze impact of fixes.
Preparing Suggestion Documents to improve the quality of the application
Skills:
Expertise in testing knowledge/skills (Manual)
Ability to multi-task and support multiple projects
Ability to resolve critical issues and adapt to constant change
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Self-motivated, quick learner, with good verbal and written communication skills
Good understanding of test and defect tracking tools (JIRA, Test-link)
Qualification:
Engineering Graduate / Postgraduate (preferably a major in Computer Science/ Electronics).
