QA Lead

Responsibilities:

• Guiding projects’ business and quality parameters
  
• Acting as a leader; taking on additional responsibilities when necessary and encouraging collaboration, cohesion, and team building
  
• Planning and strategizing with the team to solve possible issues, and suggesting workable alternatives
  
• Assisting projects’ Product Owners during the requirements-gathering stage
  
• Devising test strategies and aligning them concerning Scrum, Kanban, etc.
  
• Ensuring products’ functional and non-functional requirements are met
  
• Carrying out test automation based on a thorough understanding of automaton strategies and principles
  
• Developing a test automation framework, and enhancing and modifying it according to project needs
  
• Reviewing the test cases, scripts, plans, and procedures for both manual and automated testing
  
• Executing manual and automation tests as per defined standards and procedures
  

Requirements:

• Minimum a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science
  
• 6+ years of experience in Manual and Automation Testing
  
• Experience using Automation Testing tools such as Cypress, Selenium, Cucumber, and Katalon
  
• Experience with data structures and algorithm design
  
• Understanding of the concepts of Security and Performance Testing (e.g., JMeter)
  
• Proficiency in custom in-house built automation frameworks as well as Junit, TestNG, Xunit, CodedUI, SpecFlow, and Pyunit frameworks
  
• Strong grasp of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) as well as Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
  
• Ability to gather testing requirements or engineer them
  
• Experience in writing test cases as well as defect tracking
  
• Experience in conducting database tests
  
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral,
  
• Experienced in SQL
  
• Experienced in Security Testing
  
• Experienced in Test Management like qTest, Xray
  
• Experienced in at least one scripting language like Java, Python, or C#
