Job Description:
We are looking for an Automation Quality Engineer who is self-motivated, creative and proactive, to work successfully in a fast-paced environment including multiple platforms and architectures, diverse technologies and Cloud environments. The individual will work closely with various stakeholders throughout the SDLC, executing automated test iterations, tracking & reporting test results, troubleshooting and coordinating the bug fixes. The individual should have a strong understanding of agile processes and the related Quality lifecycle and automation methodology.
Responsibilities:
β’ Design, Develop, Execute and analyze automation test scripts & test results.
β’ Estimate test accurately and coordinate with team members for work activities.
β’ Apply design and build automated testing capabilities under BDD umbrella.
β’ Record test results and report and verify software bug fixes to accept automation criteria.
β’ Coordinate with program and development management teams in product development lifecycle to conform end user product and quality requirements and shipment schedule.
Required Skills:
β’ Expert in writing automated scripts using scripting languages like Python, Java, Java Script
β’ Expert in designing and building automated testing framework using BDD tools like Cucumber, Selenium, TestCafe.
β’ Expertise is Performance Testing using K6 and similar tools.
β’ Hands-on experience in building and implementing CI/CD automation strategies for testing using tools like Jenkins, Bamboo, Azure Devops
β’ Experienced in designing automated test scripts testing Operational/Relational/OLAP databases and data warehouses.
β’ Expert in testing APIs and Micro-services for both UI layer and data layer for data extraction, preparations and consumption modules.
β’ Exposure and familiarity with SQL databases
β’ Strong Analytical skills to understand complex business logic and calculations.
β’ Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases
β’ Good communication skills.
β’ Exposure to financial domain would be preferred
β’ Azure/AWS Certification would be preferred
