We are looking for a QA Lead to take charge of our QA efforts and lead a talented team dedicated to ensuring the quality of our mobile games. Youβll be instrumental in guiding the team to deliver smooth and enjoyable gameplay experiences for our users.Lead and manage the full QA lifecycle for Gimica's mobile games, including test planning, execution, reporting, and defect management to ensure smooth, high-quality gameplay
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (game development, design, etc.) to integrate best QA practices into the game development process
Create and maintain detailed test plans, test cases, test data, and test scripts, ensuring comprehensive coverage of game features and functionality
Manage and mentor a growing team of QA testers, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality testing results
Document, reproduce, and track user-reported bugs, providing detailed feedback to the game development team
Continuously improve testing processes and reporting to optimize efficiency and effectiveness
Define and implement automated testing strategies to enhance game quality
Champion best QA practices, aligning them with Gimicaβs vision and industry standards
You have a minimum of 5 years of experience in mobile game QA, ideally with a background in leading a team, managing processes, and driving improvements.
You are proficient with test automation tools and frameworks, and the ability to implement automation strategies (experience with tools like AltUnity Tester, Unity Automated Testing Tools, or equivalent)
You are experienced in project management and collaboration tools, such as Asana and Notion
You have experience with Android and iOS debugging tools, and are familiar with network traffic analysis tools like Charles
You are skilled at defining and leading QA processes in fast-paced, development-heavy environments
You have expertise in performance testing and optimization for mobile platforms
You bring a user-centric approach to quality assurance, with strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering excellent player experiences
