Senior Automation + Manual QA Engineer (JS/TS)

As Automation QA Engineer your mission will be to ensure the highest quality of the market-leading product in e-commerce industry through quality assurance, manual and  automated testing activities. 
 
 Your key responsibilities include:

• Collaborating with development teams to define testing strategies and ensure the best test coverage.
• Developing manual and automation tests on different parts of our web applications (backend, APIs, front end interfaces) 
• Participating in code review and providing technical support to less experienced QAs 
• Writing documentation, test cases
• Selecting relevant tools and technologies in the process of maintenance and further application enhancements
• Driving continuous improvement in QA processes and workflows

• 4+ years of commercial experience as Automation QA Engineer 

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript
• Solid experience with automation tools such as Playwright, Mocha, Chai, and Axios.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and MongoDB.
• Experience with AWS
• Deep understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), Agile methodologies, and Scrum frameworks.
• Proven experience in: 
       - API automation (TypeScript, Axios, Mocha).
       - UI automation (TypeScript, Playwright, Mocha, Chai).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience contributing to process improvements, adopting new tools and technologies, and implementing best QA practices.
• Intermediate or higher level of English (both written and spoken).

Will be a plus:

• Mobile automation experience (Kotlin, Swift)

• Understanding performance testing principles and automation (K6 or similar)

Working Conditions:

Employment Type: Full-Time; 40 hours per week as mandated by law.
Location: Tbilisi, Merab Kostava Street 43a (On-Site)

Work Arrangement:

• 4 days a week
• 1 day remotely from home.

Travel:

The job may occasionally require temporary business travel to our headquarters in Germany.
