As Automation QA Engineer your mission will be to ensure the highest quality of the market-leading product in e-commerce industry through quality assurance, manual and automated testing activities.
Your key responsibilities include:
- Collaborating with development teams to define testing strategies and ensure the best test coverage.
- Developing manual and automation tests on different parts of our web applications (backend, APIs, front end interfaces)
- Participating in code review and providing technical support to less experienced QAs
- Writing documentation, test cases
- Selecting relevant tools and technologies in the process of maintenance and further application enhancements
- Driving continuous improvement in QA processes and workflows
What sets you apart
- 4+ years of commercial experience as Automation QA Engineer
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript
- Solid experience with automation tools such as Playwright, Mocha, Chai, and Axios.
- Strong knowledge of SQL and MongoDB.
- Experience with AWS
- Deep understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), Agile methodologies, and Scrum frameworks.
- Proven experience in:
- API automation (TypeScript, Axios, Mocha).
- UI automation (TypeScript, Playwright, Mocha, Chai).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience contributing to process improvements, adopting new tools and technologies, and implementing best QA practices.
- Intermediate or higher level of English (both written and spoken).
