Our client is looking for an experienced QA Lead to
oversee testing and quality assurance for a key system migration project.. If

The Role:
As a QA Lead, you will be responsible for leading the QA effort during a
system migration from an internal platform to a third-party system. The systems
underpins everything that this company does. Itβs a highly complex finance
applicants, holding meta data on their customers which is fed in from various 3rd parties. Changing this is fundamental to the operations of the entire business,
so this Quality Leadership position is a vital cog for the tech team.
The business are c250 FTEs, with c45 working in Tech. Your leadership
role will report director to their Head of Quality.
Youβll define test strategies, coordinate testing
activities, and ensure a smooth transition while managing teams and
stakeholders effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop
and implement test strategies for different work streams
- Set
up test environments and plan test phases
- Define,
prioritize, and manage test scenarios
- Coordinate
other Quality Engineer, helping to define testing priorities
- Track,
log, and resolve defects
- Oversee
project timelines and ensure smooth sign-offs
- Liaise
with stakeholders to align on requirements and progress
Requirements:
- Proven
experience as a QA Lead, particularly in data migration projects
- Experience
with decommissioning and migrating legacy systems
- Knowledge
of Cloud architecture, ideally AWS
- Strong
expertise in test planning, execution, and defect management
- Ability
to manage multiple work streams and cross-functional teams
- Excellent
leadership and prioritization skills
Desirable Skills:
- Experience
working with Snowflake and Data Lakes
