Job Description

Your New Role

Working in a close-knit, collaborative team, you will be responsible for collaborating with stakeholders to refine requirements and manage scalable automated testing. This role will see you planning, implementing, and documenting testing activity for ongoing support of a Standard Operating Environment (SOE) in a large environment. Testing iterative updates of the SOE against a variety of endpoints across various platforms, you will bring demonstrated experience using System centre configuration manager (SCCM) and understanding of the SOE prestaging and build process.

Using your experience, you will effectively use testing management software to Develop, automate and execute comprehensive test plans and cases to identify, track and manage defects in the SOE. Your experience with PowerShell scripting and its interface with testing management software will be an asset to the ongoing support and continuous improvement of the teams work practise. This will allow you to Identify and mitigate risks during testing along with providing detailed analysis and reports on functional test activities and results.

This role is based in our Canberra office.

    Qualifications

    About You and What You'll Bring

    You must have demonstrable knowledge and understanding of operating system testing andย hold a minimum NV1 Clearance (NV2 preferred).ย You will have strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach to your work, and an ability to understand the business, identify issues and develop relationships to achieve objectives

    • Appropriate degree from an accredited university,ย orย equivalent experience/combined education with substantial professional experience in large, testing environments
    • General understanding of the SOE prestaging and build process
    • Intermediate knowledge of SCCM/Configuration Manager and Citrix administrative consoles
    • Intermediate knowledge of PowerShell scripting
    • Experience with Active Directory and Group Policy Objects
    • Experience with SOE testing in a large environment with a variety of hardware endpoints
    • Familiarity with testing management software (ALM desirable)
    • Exposure to IT infrastructure and hardware testing
