QA Engineer

Responsibilities:

  • Understand use cases to design, develop, and execute test plans and tests for SaaS workflows
  • Collaborate with product managers, software development teams and other stakeholders for requirements review
  • Identify exit criteria and prioritize test requirements.
  • Verify, report, and track defects found in testing and complete the defect resolution cycle.
  • Continuously review testing scope and approach based upon test results and/or changes in application design.
  • Ability to pick up and learn scripting, understand frameworks and automation tools for regressions


Requirements

Requirements, Desired Skills and Experience

  • 4+ years of experience in manual, API testing
  • Adept at manual QA testing concepts and methodologies
  • Ability to break the best code and find defects
  • Possess excellent communication skills
  • Perform software tests on code and enhancements, with limited supervision
  • Design, develop and test automated scripts using playwright with java, python
  • Good to have - API automation using postman or other relevant tools
  • Good to have - exposure to any automation tool and scripting
  • Understand and read the relevant pieces of code
  • Insurance domain knowledge an added advantage
