Sr. Software QA Engineer

Overview:
Our client is seeking a Sr. Software QA to assist in driving quality assurance processes for their internal facing applications. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, manual testing expertise, and a collaborative mindset to elevate the QA process.

Job Details:

• Own testing efforts for enterprise applications, including front-end, back-end, and integration validations.
• Actively participate in Scrum ceremonies.
• Provide reliable testing scope and effort estimates to project teams.
• Collaborate with multi-functional teams to understand both business needs and technical requirements.
• Create and review test cases to ensure comprehensive testing coverage.
• Track and monitor all testing activities and ensure timely execution.
• Engage in various types of testing: functional, integration, regression, end-to-end.
• Mentor and guide QA team members.
• Troubleshoot and resolve defects in collaboration with tech leads and product owners.
• Provide technical expertise to diagnose issues, propose workarounds, or escalate as needed. 

 Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in testing enterprise applications, including functional, integration, regression, and scalability testing in an agile environment. 
• Proficiency in test case creation and execution, including functional and integration testing.
• Proven track record of leading QA efforts from test plan development to execution and defect resolution.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics CRM, QAD, or SAP ERP is preferred.
• Familiarity with SQL Server, SSIS/ETL processes, or PowerBI is a plus.
• Experience with web technologies, databases, and third-party integration tools is desirable.
• Strong communication and team-building skills.
• Pragmatic problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Location:
Hybrid work schedule in Duluth, GA or Tallassee, AL office three days each week!
