We are now looking for two enthusiastic Quality Assurance Trainees to join our Digital Development Team. As a trainee, you will analyze and test Software Development Life-Cycle work products to ensure functionality, reliability, and quality. This role offers the opportunity to learn and apply ISTQB principles, supporting our team in delivering high-quality software solutions.
Key responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Senior QA Engineers to understand requirements and testing processes
- Write, execute, and maintain manual and automated test cases
- Identify and document defects, ensuring clear communication with developers and business stakeholders
- Participate in planning, reviews, and retrospectives
- Assist in designing test cases
- Learn and contribute to the creation of test data and environments
- Run regression, smoke, and exploratory tests under supervision
- Gain hands-on experience with test and task management tools (e.g., Jira, Xray)
What are we looking for?
- You are either a recent graduate or in the final stages of your studies in fields such as Business, Law, Computer Science, or a related field
- You have already learned the fundamentals of quality assurance through education and training
- Familiarity with ISTQB, Agile, Scrum, Kanban, and Test Automation are valued
- Analytical mindset and enthusiasm for learning new things
- Strong communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with various stakeholders
- Fluent language skills in English

General Information:
- All trainee positions are located at our headquarters at Postintaival 7, Helsinki. We offer a hybrid working model, allowing you to work remotely as well.
- The salary for trainees is β¬2800 per month.
- Each trainee will be assigned a dedicated mentor to ensure a smooth onboarding process and a rewarding traineeship experience.
- The Trainee Program will begin on 14.4.2025 with a kick-off week and will last for six months. During the program, we will organize engagement activities, giving you the opportunity to get to know other trainees, Postiβs different business groups, our operations, and much more.
