Job Description

Job purpose

Our strategy is to put the power of good advice into more hands. Β To deliverΒ on this promise we are building new wealth management services for next generation clients; to help them plan and manage their financial future. These services will combine the best of great digital product design andΒ wealth management expertise.

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Test Lead to join our team inΒ deliveringΒ innovative, reliable, and robustΒ solutions along with managing all aspects of the software testing processes. The Test Lead will build and manage the testing team, processes, and tools to ensure our software meets quality standards before release. This is a hands-on role for someone passionate about quality assurance and test automation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop & maintain an overall test strategy and detailed test plans that cover functional, integration, system, performance, and regression testing
  • Manage a team of test automation engineers and manual testers
  • Implement and oversee test automation frameworks, tools, and processesΒ 
  • Perform hands-on complex test case design and test scripting
  • Review product requirements and track test coverage and gaps
  • Triage, isolate, replicate and report software defects
  • Analyse test results and create detailed problem reports
  • Collaborate with product and engineering teams throughout the development process
  • Stay up-to-date with QA processes, tools, and best practices

Qualifications

Key Skills and Experience

  • Experience in software QA leadership roles
  • Strong experience with test automation tools like Playwright
  • Good experience with test management tools like Zephyr
  • Proficiency with defect tracking tools like JIRA
  • Excellent communication and time management skills
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Detail-oriented and organized.
  • Strong technical background with working knowledge of the SDLC
  • Knowledge of SQL and experience with database testing
  • Experience testing APIs and web services
  • Familiarity with mobile/tablet testing
