Job Title: Test Lead / Analyst (3-Month Fixed-Term Contract)
Location: Northern Suburbs
Contract Type: Contract
Industry: HR / Payroll Software (Workday experience preferred)

About the Role

We are seeking experienced Test Leads / Analysts for a 3-month contract to support testing efforts for HR and Payroll software implementations. The ideal candidates will have prior experience working with HR/Payroll systems, with a preference for Workday experience. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders to ensure high-quality software delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute test strategies, test plans, and test cases for HR/Payroll software projects.

  • Lead and manage end-to-end testing processes, including functional, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing (UAT).

  • Work closely with business analysts, developers, and stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure test coverage.

  • Identify, document, and track defects, ensuring timely resolution.

  • Coordinate and support UAT activities, including test script creation, execution, and defect management.

  • Provide regular progress updates and reports to project managers and stakeholders.

  • Ensure adherence to best practices and testing standards throughout the testing lifecycle.

Key Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Test Lead / Test Analyst in HR / Payroll software projects.

  • Strong knowledge of HR and Payroll systems, with a preference for Workday experience.

  • Hands-on experience in test planning, execution, and defect management.

  • Familiarity with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail, HP ALM).

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with tight deadlines.

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

  • Experience in agile methodologies is desirable.
