Test Lead - Automation

Senior Test Lead (12+ Years of Experience)

Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive automation strategy for testing applications.
• Oversee and mentor the application team to enhance their continuous delivery processes.
• Facilitate and lead code review sessions, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
• Guide and support testers and automation engineers in designing testing approaches, developing scripts, executing tests, and generating detailed reports.
• Analyze test results and oversee defect resolution tasks, ensuring timely communication with stakeholders.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices, integrating them into current projects to drive innovation.
• Champion the adoption of automation practices across teams to streamline software development processes and improve efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align testing strategies with business goals.

Mandatory Qualifications:

• Over 12 years of proven experience with deep expertise in Java, Selenium, BDD & TDD, Cucumber, Gherkin, and CI/CD tools.
• Extensive experience in API automation, with proficiency in REST Assured or Karate; skilled in both front-end and back-end automation.
• Strong knowledge of databases such as DB2, MongoDB, or Snowflake, with experience in writing complex SQL queries.
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence and engage with all levels of management.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in advanced file handling using Java.
• Knowledge or experience with Cypress.
• AWS certification is a plus.
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
