Test Leader French Speaker

Position Description:

Context:The company provides test services based on a well-defined, matured, and proven test strategy and methodology.Its main activities are test design and test execution.The company has been involved in test projects for key business areas, performing test design and execution across various applications.Responsibilities:• Contribute to the Test Strategy, Master Test Plan, design of the tests, ensure their execution, follow-up on the test analysts, and report to project stakeholders.Reporting to:• Test Centre Team Leader

Your future duties and responsibilities:

Main Functions:Contribute to the design of the Business Analyst tests within a project:• Respect the project design and its deliverables.• Input the test subjects into the dedicated tool, following the existing standards.• Ensure the elaboration, validation, and communication of all test project deliverables within his/her scope (in accordance with the defined standards).• Guarantee the correct prioritization of the tests within his/her scope.• Contribute to the organization of Business Analyst intelligence.Ensure the execution of the Tests within a project:• Provide the information necessary for the Go/No Go decision.• Execute the tests within his/her scope of competence.• Input the test results into the dedicated tool.• Report any risk of non-compliance regarding delays or quality.• Provide feedback to the Test Manager and direct hierarchy on project progress.Ensure the reporting of the Tests within a project:• Ensure communication with project stakeholders through the creation of test reports.• Manage project committees (test progress & defect tracking).• Report the necessary information for the Go/No Go decision.Contribute to the identification and correction of any anomalies within the project:• Identify anomalies within his/her scope.• Input the anomalies into the correct tool.• Contribute to the prioritization of project anomalies.• Participate in the correction and validation of anomalies.• Provide the necessary information to draft final reports and procedures.⸻Autonomy:1st LevelThe tester is able to schedule and organize his/her work as well as manage resources, set priorities within his/her scope, and report any issues regarding processes and procedures.⸻Qualifications:Technical Background:• Degree in Informatics or related areas.• Understanding of project methodology.• Knowledge of test methodology principles and vocabulary (ISTQB).• Experience in testing applications for life insurance or banking products (desirable).Essential

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

Skills:• Minimum 5 years of experience in test activities.• Ability to build a test strategy and schedule.• Experience managing one or more software testers.• Ability to work in an Agile environment.• Knowledge of Octane, JIRA, and Confluence.• API knowledge.• SQL language proficiency.• Risk identification and follow-up.• Coordination and motivation skills.• Systematic, critical, and logical thinking.• Summarization capabilities.• Commitment, high standards, and pedagogical approach.Desirable Skills:• 5 years of experience in testing.• Ability to script tests using KARATE.• Strive for continuous customer satisfaction.• Aim to deliver high-quality results.• Strong ability to manage stress and conflicts.• Good listening and questioning skills.• Good learning abilities.• Ability to plan ahead and prioritize workload.• Adaptability to change and evolution.
