5G Software Test Engineer

Nokia’s CMM R&D test team ensures that the cloud-based AMF, the core element of 5G networks, is delivered with high quality to our customers, based on current and future cloudification principles and customer requirements. • Design, implement and execute integration, verification, and automation test strategies for the NOKIA’s SGSN/MME/AMF product (CMM) ensuring delivery of high-quality product releases.
• Support the implementation of changes to testbed topologies in order to support the successful testing of product features and accurately reflect customer deployment profiles required to bring telecom products to the market
• Utilize existing or will need to create new tools, techniques and strategies in order to verify the functionality of the newly introduced product features
• Cooperate with technical experts to achieve the committed objectives
   

You have:

• a BSc or MSc in Telecommunications, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or equivalent degree 
• know-how and practice record in scripting languages (i.e. python, bash)
• understanding of Linux based operating systems
• strong analytical, problem solving and troubleshooting skills
• the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
• great interpersonal and communication skills

We will also appreciate if you have: 

• experience in scripting for test automation
• experience in data and log analysis
• understanding of 3GPP standards for 3G,4G and 5G packet core networks
• experience in Continuous Integration/Delivery frameworks such as Jenkins
• experience with virtualization technologies (Kubernetes, OpenStack)
