Overview:
We are seeking a seasoned Senior Software Test Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in manual testing methodologies, along with proficiency in automation testing using Selenium/Java. Additionally, familiarity with performance testing tools such as JMeter and RESTful API testing tools like Postman or Soap UI is highly desirable. The candidate should demonstrate strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment. Immediate availability or a maximum 30-day notice period is preferred.
Responsibilities:
1. Perform manual testing of software applications to ensure high-quality deliverables.
2. Develop and execute automated test scripts using Selenium/Java for efficient testing processes.
3. Design and execute performance tests using tools like JMeter to assess system scalability and reliability.
4. Conduct testing of RESTful APIs using Postman or Soap UI to validate functionality and performance.
5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, product managers, and quality assurance to identify and resolve issues.
6. Participate in test planning, estimation, and strategy development to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
7. Document test cases, test results, and defects accurately and comprehensively.
8.Stay updated with industry best practices and emerging trends in software testing methodologies.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
2. Minimum of 2+ years of experience in software testing roles.
3. Proficiency in manual testing techniques and methodologies.
4. Strong experience in Manual & Automation testing using Selenium/Java.
5. Familiarity with performance testing tools such as JMeter or similar.
6. Knowledge of RESTful API testing tools like Postman or Soap UI.
7. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
8. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
9. Immediate availability or a maximum 30-day notice period.
Preferred Qualifications:
1. ISTQB or similar software testing certification.
2. Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
3. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
5. Experience in testing web and mobile applications.
6. Knowledge of SQL and database testing.
