Overview

DecisionPoint Corporation is seeking an Automated Test Engineer to join our team! The Automated Test Engineer will design, develop, and implement automated testing systems to ensure the quality and functionality of software products. This role involves creating automated test scripts, identifying and documenting bugs, and collaborating with development teams to improve software performance.

This position is fully remote.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Design and develop automated test scripts using tools like Selenium, JUnit, or TestNG.
  • Develop detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
  • Perform automated and manual tests, analyze results, and report on software quality.
  • Identify, record, and document bugs or defects in the software.
  • Work closely with software developers to ensure that software meets functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Implement and maintain test automation frameworks and tools.
  • Keep up-to-date with the latest testing tools and strategies.

Qualifications

ย 

  • Active Secret clearance required.
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in software testing and quality assurance.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Java and JavaScript.ย  Strong knowledge of automated testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG).
  • Familiarity with Agile and DevOps methodologies.
  • Relevant certifications such as ISTQB are a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
