Software Test Engineer - Automated

Location: Buenos Aires, AR

This Quality Assurance role will require a work location based out of our Development Center based Buenos Aires with the Hansen CIS-B development team who is responsible for assistance in developing and maintaining the existing automation framework and test suite with Cypress and/or Selenium.  This Software Test Engineer for the Hansen CIS-B team will assist in all quality assurance and testing initiatives and interfacing applications.   

• You are a highly enthusiastic individual in SW Test Engineering who is capable of providing automation testing support with your previous hands-on experience using automated tools such as Cypress IO, Cucumber or Selenium WebDriver.
• You are an inquisitive individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment including Functional and Non-Functional testing and exposure to Performance testing.
• You have a 4-year college degree in IT / Computer Science or equivalent QA Testing experience including Cypress or Selenium in your Software Development.
• You bring working knowledge of scripting languages such as C#, Java, JavaScript and have the ability to write and execute manual test cases and then automate them
• You are familiar or work with Windows OS / Linux & Oracle Databases and bring a basic level knowledge of XML, JSON, and RDBMS concepts
• You like to collaborative with colleagues and peers at all levels and are an effective communicator, internally and externally for working on large-scale integration projects and performance in Utilities or Telecommunications. 

This position will include helping to write and execute test scenarios to detect faults within software and related documentation while assisting in maintaining and creating tests script for automation testing in tools such as Cypress and Selenium WebDriver.  You will be running and analyzing automation test reports as required as well as preparing test environments, test data, and Jenkin configuration if required.  You will also work with the Department Manager on initiatives to increase the capabilities and maturity of the department and Hansen's delivery.  This may include but not limited to the following: 

• Updating scripts through each release and utilizing automated testing tools to help write automated web tests
• Maintaining and updating the framework when the library is upgraded
• Defining, maintaining the test automation framework, and ensuring that appropriate testing tools are selected and applied optimally that will include Cypress and Selenium but not limited to other tools when appropriate
• Learning to build automation framework from scratch
• Using your proven ability to effectively plan, prioritize and manage multiple activities to deliver services to meet business expectations
• Work as a Automated Test product point of contact and QA Tester advisro across new technologies and stay current to help grow the QA department's Automated Software Testing and support services
