Role :

We are seeking a motivated and talented EGSE and Test EngineerΒ at our Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue office.

The candidate will participate in the development of test equipment and support testing of satellite electronic units.

Tasks :

  • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams for the development test equipment used for testing satellite electronic units;
  • Support testing of satellite electronic units;
  • Be part of an engineering team specializing in test equipment, otherwise called electrical ground support equipment (EGSE);
  • Design and support manufacturing of electrical test equipment and cable harnesses.
  • Produce design documentation such as electrical diagrams, assembly drawings, bill of materials, etc.
  • Assist engineering in analyses and writing of test procedures;
  • Support procurement, manufacturing and validation of test equipment;

Experience and skills required :

  • Sc or equivalent in Electrical Engineering;
  • 5+ years of experience.
  • Hands-on experience in electronic design;
  • Skills in printed circuit board (PCB) design;
  • Ability to work autonomously and in a collaborative team, strong teamwork and interpersonal skills;
  • Interest for laboratory work.

Assets :

  • Diptrace or equivalent PCB cad tool.
  • Knowledge of stepper motors and drives
  • Knowledge of Python or VBA.
  • Knowledge of microcomputers (Raspberry Pi / Arduino)
  • Knowledge of PSoC programming
  • Microsoft office suite and Visio.
  • Bilingual (French / English)

Successful candidates must obtain and hold security clearance at the reliability status level, and pass security assessment for the Controlled Goods Program (CGP) and ITAR.
