Job Summary:
As the Engine Shop Lead, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing engine testing operations to ensure efficiency, safety, and effectiveness. Your role will involve coordinating test schedules, leading a team of technicians, analyzing test data, and maintaining testing equipment.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead engine testing activities from setup to completion, ensuring compliance with protocols and safety regulations.
  • Coordinate test schedules and allocate resources to meet project deadlines.
  • Provide guidance, training, and support to a team of technicians.
  • Analyze test data and prepare reports for engineering teams and management.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues during testing and implement corrective actions.
  • Ensure proper calibration and maintenance of testing equipment.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to develop and refine testing procedures.
  • Maintain documentation related to testing activities and ensure adherence to quality standards and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in engine testing or a related field.
  • Technical knowledge of engine systems and testing methodologies.
  • Leadership experience in guiding teams of technicians.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and report writing.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Professional certification in engine testing or related area.
  • Experience with engine test cell operations and instrumentation.
  • Familiarity with industry-standard testing software and tools.
