Job Description Summary

We're looking for a Junior QA Analyst to join our dynamic team at Streamline, the leading vacation rental software provider. In this role, you'll help ensure our software meets the highest quality standards and delivers an exceptional experience to property managers and their guests. This is an excellent opportunity for someone starting their QA career to learn and grow while making a meaningful impact in the vacation rental industry.

What You’ll Do (Functions & Responsibilities)

• Execute test cases for new features and updates in our vacation rental management platform
• Participate in daily stand-ups and sprint planning meetings with development teams
• Document and track bugs using Jira
• Create and maintain test documentation in Confluence
• Perform functional and regression testing
• Assist in creating and updating test plans and test cases
• Collaborate with developers to verify bug fixes
• Help test user interfaces across different devices and browsers
• Participate in user acceptance testing
• Log and track testing activities in our project management tools

What We’re Looking For (Minimum qualifications)

• 0-2 years of software testing experience
• Basic understanding of software testing methodologies
• Familiarity with bug tracking and test management tools (Jira preferred)
• Basic knowledge of HTML and web technologies
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Good written and verbal communication abilities
• Basic understanding of Agile methodologies
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Experience with automated testing tools
• Basic SQL knowledge
• Understanding of API testing
• Experience with cross-browser testing
• Knowledge of vacation rental industry (a plus)

Education Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
