As a Jr. QA Engineer you will be:
- Collaborate within the Scrum team to define and execute comprehensive functional and non-functional testing strategies across all development stages.
- Analyse and interpret customer requirements documents (e.g., FRS, HLD) to develop effective test plans and scenarios.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate quality risks throughout the development lifecycle.
- Design, execute, and maintain automated and manual test cases using relevant simulators and analysis tools.
- Accurately report and track identified defects and testing progress using designated bug tracking and reporting tools.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports.
Your tool box
- Minimum of 1 year of professional experience in software testing
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology
- Demonstrated expertise in quality assurance methodologies and test documentation practices.
- Proficiency in utilizing issue tracking and test management systems, such as Quality Center, JIRA, or equivalent platforms.
- Availability for international travel on a quarterly basis.
Preferred Qualifications (itβs a plus):
- Proficiency in Python and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, workflows, and toolsets.
- Understanding of SQL database querying and manipulation.
- Familiarity with Linux operating systems and command-line interfaces. Experience testing IP protocols (e.g., VoIP, TCP/IP, FTP).
- Experience with telephony protocols (e.g., SS7, GSM, UMTS, VoLTE).
