Lead QA Engineer

Nokia Cloud Operations Manager (NCOM) R&D in P&E Automation R&D organization, which is part of the CNS business group. NCOM product is an Intelligent orchestration for infrastructure and any levels of workload: platform, application and suite. Supports Hybrid multi-cluster infra LCM and configuration (Match-Create-Scale ). Automated workload LCM on all levels (Platform-App-Suite), Observability, telemetry, metering and closed loop (Discover-Monitor-Act)

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and perform QA activities.
• TC planning and execution. E2E automation
• Actively participate in a scrum team and contribute to agile processes. Participate in Feature reviews and grooming
• Support your colleagues in completing their tasks
• Supporting customer issues

Requirements:                                                                                       

• BE or BTech in engineering, telecommunications, computer science or an equivalent education with 5 - 9 years of experience in software testing.
• Proficiency in one or more scripting languages: Python, Shell, JavaScript
• Familiar with automation testing frameworks and methodologies: Cypress, Robot, Jmeter
• Strong understanding and hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with RedHat OpenShift platform
• Experience with Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum or Kanban.
• Familiarity with version control systems, specifically Git.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitLab CI for continuous integration and delivery.
• Strong knowledge of Linux environments and command-line interfaces.
• Familiarity with basic networking concepts, API design and RESTful services.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Must be a team player, comfortable working with global teams and in remote settings.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with public cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) for application deployment and management.
• Proficiency in using Helm and kpt and familiarity with Kubernetes best practices for scaling, networking, and resource management.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
• A proactive attitude toward learning new technologies and methodologies.
