Department
As part of the Moody’s Insurance unit, our solutions help client solve complex risk management challenges and make informed business decisions.
 
Responsibilities
You will work within an Agile team based in Montbonnot and participate to the testing of our risk solutions for insurers.
 
You will actively contribute to:

• Understanding the functional need expressed by business analysts
• Defining the testing strategy in collaboration with software engineers and other quality assurance engineers
• Designing, developing and maintaining automated test suites for functional and non-functional requirements
• Developing test framework and tools
• Analyzing defects and following resolution
• Quality assurance engineers are involved from the very beginning of the development cycle. Testing is performed throughout the whole process until the customer delivery and involves different teams. Our working environment promotes oral communication, teamwork and continuous improvement.

 
 
Qualifications
Technical skills

• Master’s degree in computer science with 3+ years of equivalent experience or Bachelor’s degree in computer science with 5+ years of equivalent experience
• Advanced knowledge of the core concepts of Software Quality (types of tests, coverage, maintainability, efficiency, …)
• Significant experience in the test’s automation of Web applications (api tests, component tests). A knowledge of software testing tools (such as Cucumber) is a plus
• Advanced computing using an Object-Oriented Programming language (such as Ruby or Python)
• Intermediate level understanding of Web-based technology architecture
• Good knowledge of source control systems (such as Git) and continuous integration tools (such as Github actions or Jenkins)
• Database skills

• Aptitude and willingness for teamwork in a multicultural and multidisciplinary environment
• Responsive and proactive to requests. Ability to follow issue and bring them to closure.
• Rigor, strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Desire and aptitude for learning and suggesting innovative technologies and solutions
• French C2 mandatory, Intermediate level of English (B1-B2) with the ability and willingness to work in an English-speaking team.
