Why we’re hiring a Performance Test Lead? We’re on the hunt for a Performance Test Lead as part of our company’s growth.
Working within the Software Engineering department, the Performance Test Lead is responsible for ensuring the quality and efficiency of software applications.

We have over fifteen products in our portfolio, used by over 700 pharmaceutical clients (including all the top 20!)

What are you responsible for?
•Test Planning and Strategy: Develop and implement performance test strategies and plans based on business requirements.
•Coordination: Work closely with stakeholders, including developers, QA teams, and business analysts, to define performance testing requirements and objectives.
•Test Execution: Oversee the execution of performance tests, including load, stress, endurance, and scalability testing.
•Analysis and Reporting: Analyze test results to identify performance bottlenecks and provide detailed reports with recommendations for improvements.
•Tool Management: Configure and manage performance testing tools such as LoadRunner, JMeter, or similar.
•Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of performance testers, ensuring effective collaboration and knowledge sharing.

Skills you’ll need:
•Minimum 5 years’ experience working within a team-based environment including a working knowledge of a defined software development life cycle (SDLC).
•Experience with Apache JMeter.
•Experience in a senior software tester role, ideally including some responsibility for developing and mentoring less experienced staff.
•Responsibility for consulting assignments advising internal and preferably external clients e.g., in the design of test plans, issue resolution or the introduction of technical and/or process enhancements.
•Experience of working within teams operating using agile software development methods.
•Good knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
