Principal Software Development QA Engineer

Responsibilities

• Designing, implementing QA testing platform to integrate all QA resources and also tools for developer
• FortiCNAPP function testing and auto test solution design and implementation
• Programing test script by Python or Shell
• Work closely with function QA, Developer and DevOps to ensure smooth integration and deployment
• Delivering high-quality software rapidly.
• Analyzing, prioritizing, and addressing QA and Developer issue

Requirements

• 5+ years of development experience and 3+ years of QA experience on network related product
• Familiar with python/react/nodejs/go lang
• Full-stack capabilities are preferred
• Automated testing, platform-related development experience is preferred
• Knowledge on networking protocol such as TCP/IP and also routing/switching/VPN
• Knowledge in network security production or technology such as NGFW, Endpoint Security, Web Application Firewall. Knowledge in cloud native security is plus.
• Familiar with Linux operation
• Experience on docker, Kubernetes, ansible, terraform
• Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skill
• Highly organized, able to multi-task, the ability to work individually, within a team and with other groups

Educational Requirement:

• Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science/Engineering or related fields

FortiCNAPP delivers end-to-end visibility into what’s happening across your cloud environment, including detecting threats, vulnerabilities, misconfigurations, and unusual activity, customer can innovate with speed and safety. It provides Polygraph Data Platform automatically learns how customer’s environment is supposed to run, and tells you when it deviates.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $194,700-$254,500. Fortinet offers employees a variety of benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, 401(k), 11 paid holidays, vacation time, and sick time as well as a comprehensive leave program.

Wage ranges are based on various factors including the labor market, job type, and job level. Exact salary offers will be determined by factors such as the candidate's subject knowledge, skill level, qualifications, experience, and geographic location.
