Program Test Manager (Cards), Group Consumer Banking and Big Data Analytics Technology, Technology & Operations

Group Technology and Operations (T&O) enables and empowers the bank with an efficient, nimble and resilient infrastructure through a strategic focus on productivity, quality & control, technology, people capability and innovation. In Group T&O, we manage the majority of the Bank's operational processes and inspire to delight our business partners through our multiple banking delivery channels.
 

Responsibilites

• Strong understanding on payments and cards, unsecured lending, core banking, customer management
• Test knowledge and hands-on experience on Cards systems and Modules
• Define and implement end to end test strategy and test automation for Bank’s major initiatives
• Provide technical & test leadership and guidance to both team members and project peers
• Champion Test Engineering excellence, establishing metrics and process for regular assessment and improvement
• Broad range of Testing and Test Design Patterns
• Building and maintenance of Test Automation Frameworks
• Adhere to organizational guidelines and Test Excellence during delivery
• Providing leadership, and guidance during project delivery by working with Product Owner and Scrum Master/Project Manager
• Good communication skills, presentation skills, negotiation skills and stakeholder management
• Building a trusting environment where solutions can be designed with an emphasis on problem-solving mindset
• Problem-solving skills and the abilities to analyse quantitatively, understand product technical requirements and effectively translate to testing deliverables
• Hands-on Experience on QA practices\: black box, white box testing; performance testing, regression and exploratory testing
• Play a key role in creating an agile delivery plan for testing and tracking along with scrum master and test teams
• Help teams and stakeholders write appropriate test criteria for each user story during sprint planning meetings
• Participation in all Scrum meetings and rituals
• Facilitating discussion, decision making, defect management and conflict resolution
• Understanding of Web fundamentals (HTTP, REST, JSON etc.), 2 tier/3 tier architectures
• Mobile applications testing and automation (native applications, mobile browsers, remote devices)
• Understanding of Microservices architecture and Stubbing (good if he/she has knowledge of spring frameworks and wire mock)
• Understanding of Message Queues, Kafka from testing perspective
• Excellent knowledge of Data models, database queries and knowledge of RDBMS/NoSQL platforms

Requirements

• Experience\: Engineering graduate with an experience over 15 years
• Domain\: Cards, Payments, Unsecured Lending, Core Banking, Customer Management
• Testing\: Deep knowledge & hands on Test Practices/Strategy/Plan/Execution
• Development\: Intermediate knowledge on agile processes
• Programming\: Java, Selenium, Scripting
• Technologies\: Ansible, Containers, Kubernetes is a plus
• Code versioning/Deploy Tools\: Git, Jenkins etc.
• Build Tools\: Postman, Junit, Smoke, Chaos, PEN and P&V testing
• Application\: Any Cards applications with complete Life Cycle of Issuing, Acquiring and Switching
• Interfaces\: Schemes (Visa, MasterCard, UPI, JCB), IVR, Workflows, Digi Channel Integration etc.
