Description

The QA Analyst position involves comprehensive quality control tasks, including inspections, testing, and audits to maintain high-quality standards for raw materials, processes, and finished products. This role requires active participation in production management, training, and continuous improvement projects. Additionally, the candidate will support R&D efforts through laboratory testing, documentation, and collaborative product development activities.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-departmental teams for product scale-up.
  • Perform inspections and testing of raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products.
  • Document and capture inspection outcomes accurately within the quality management system.
  • Identify, report, and address quality issues and non-conformities.
  • Conduct audits of manufacturing processes and procedures.
  • Calibrate, maintain, and operate lab/testing equipment following SOPs.
  • Support validation and qualification processes for new equipment and processes.
  • Assist in root cause analysis and implementation of corrective/preventive actions.
  • Provide guidance and training to personnel.
  • Conduct routine quality checks and escalate issues promptly.
  • Ensure proper use and maintenance of equipment; report any issues promptly.
  • Support implementation of continuous improvement initiatives to boost productivity and reduce waste.
  • Collaborate with other departments such as quality, production, and product development to support product scale-up.
  • Support the R&D team in laboratory experiments and trials.
  • Accurately document experimental procedures, results, and observations in lab notebooks or digital systems.
  • Conduct physical, chemical, or sensory testing as necessary.
  • Prepare samples for evaluation, internal and external testing, and client trials.

Requirements

Job Requirements

  • Grade 12.
  • Diploma or BTech qualification (Chemical Engineering or Chemistry)
  • Previous experience and knowledge of Measuring tools, lab equipment, and quality testing techniques.
  • Must have the ability to interpret technical documents, standard operating procedures,
  • formulation of work instructions, and specifications.
  • The incumbent should possess analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Advanced computer literacy and intermediate proficiency in Microsoft applications.
  • Exposure in the Chemical detergent and disinfectant Industry will be advantageous.
