QA Automation Engineer

We are looking for a QA Automation Engineer to join our Team in Lisbon!

The role should be based at the office in Carnaxide area (8 days per months remotely), the first month is fully on-site.

Main job responsibilities:

• Write, design, and execute automated tests by creating scripts that run testing functions automatically
• Maximize test coverage for the most critical features of the system
• Write documentation for automated processes including test procedures and scenarios
• Work closely with QA team leader, product manager, developers, manual QA and product owner
  

Skills/knowledge required for the position:

• 3+ years of development in any software development language (JavaScript, …)
• Knowledge of Git Version Control
• Ability to use popular IDE (IntelliJ, Visual Studio, …)
• Strong level in English
• Knowledge in http requests and rest API
• Experience with AGILE methodologies
• Ability to be autonomous but responsive
• Ability to work in a team 

Would be a plus: 

• Academic background in Software Development 
• Application load testing or stress tests or performance tests
• Jest knowledge
• ISTQB certificate
• Working with Linux console
• Experience using UI testing solutions (Selenium, Cypress, …)
