Arcticom, LLC, a subsidiary of Bering Straits Native Corporation is currently seeking a qualified Quality Assurance (QA) Automation Engineer. The QA Automation Engineer will be responsible for all aspects of the quality assurance testing process.

路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Performs daily hands-on QA/Testing activities of the Logistics IT software systems and components. 路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Helps to establish QA standard approaches, processes and documentation. 路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Plan, execute and manage complex integration-level system tests with multiple dependencies. 路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Encourage skill and QA growth within the Product teams in parallel with ongoing mentorship and support. 路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Provide continuous risk assessment and timely escalation of software quality concerns, be an advocate for process improvements, as well as an individual contributor. 路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Work closely with product owners and developers to meet QA commitments and align delivery priorities with business objectives. 路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Participate in, building, and maintaining data-driven test automation tools and frameworks using clean coding practices and functional programming methodologies. 路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Perform debugging and root cause analysis of product issues or defects. 路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Ongoing evaluation of new testing methodologies, best practices and tools with goals to continuously improve test coverage through both manual and automated processes. 路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Establish tight collaboration and feedback loops between various teams to improve the release process and maximize resource utilization in a fast-paced environment. |

Required (Minimum) Qualifications
路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Five (5) years of QA test management/development or test lead experience. 路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Two (2) years of supervising automated and manual software test operations. 路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Bachelor鈥檚 degree required; or 5-10 years equivalent experience. 路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Must possess or be able to attain a SECRET security clearance; requires U.S. citizenship. |
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics
路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Experience leading a test or quality process through multiple end to end cycles. 路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Solid knowledge of QA methodologies, test planning, system dependencies, and product integration phases. 路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Recent hands-on experience with front-end test automation tools and libraries such as Selenium, TestNG, Junit, ScalaTest, Gatling, JMeter, and others. 路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Familiarity with scripting and programming languages, such as Java, C#, Groovy, Python, Scala, Ruby, Perl, etc. 路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Strong knowledge of Linux and command-line shell scripting. 路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Familiarity with continuous integration tools (Jenkins, Gitlab, etc..) and version controlling. 路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Knowledge of API testing tools (Postman, SoapUI). 路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Understanding of Agile development methodologies and SDLC. |

Essential and marginal functions may require maintaining physical condition necessary for bending, stooping, sitting, walking or standing for prolonged periods of time; most of time is spent sitting in a comfortable position with frequent opportunity to move about.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
Job is performed in an office setting with exposure to computer screens and requires extensive use of a computer, keyboard, mouse, and multi-line telephone system. The work described herein is primarily a modern office setting. Occasional travel may be required.
