Job Title: QA Engineer

Location: Bengaluru  

Reporting to: Senior Tech & Performance Manager 

  

Purpose of the role

  • Seeking a proactive QA Engineer who thrives in agile environments and values automation with strong problem-solving skills and a passion for quality.

Key tasks & accountabilities  

  • Develop and execute both manual and automated tests.  

  • Analyze and clarify testing requirements from product and business owners.

  • Collaborate with development teams to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues.  

  • Maintain and enhance testing frameworks and documentation.  

  • Participate in agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous process improvement.  

  • Contribute to the incident management processes improvement for our business service management platform (GURU), and employee experience platform (CheersHub), ensuring timely resolution and continuous improvement in incident response.  

  • Support end users during testing  

  • Training and guidance for the end users (internal & external)  

  • Feedback collection from end users (internal & external)  

  • Track project success KPIs, incl. NPS reporting, dashboard (PowerBI 

  • Support product related projects (migration, decommission of functionalities): designs, UAT  

  • Other duties as requested by line manager 

Qualifications, Experience, Skills

  • 2+ years in software QA. Demonstrable automation experience is a big advantage (Selenium, etc.). 

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, IT, Computer Science, or a related field 

  • Microsoft Office (Excel, Visio, Power Point), SAP (advantage), Salesforce (advantage), ServiceNow (advantage), Azure DevOps.

Competencies:

  • Experience with testing tools, methods, and frameworks  

  • Solid understanding of agile methodologies and CI/CD practices  

  • Problem-solving skills  

  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional environment.  

  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
