Who you are
- You are a driven QA Engineer and eager to learn
- You have a strong sense of ownership, high-quality engineering standards, and the ability to develop a high-quality test strategy
- You communicate clearly with others and seek constructive feedback and provide it
- You maintain a growth mindset and are eager to learn, acquire new skills, and try new methodologies and processes to ensure we remain future-proof
- Demonstrable experience in developing and maintaining automated tests
- Demonstrable knowledge of using and improving test methodologies such as functional testing, integration testing, regression testing, and performance testing
- Strong ability to debug code, identify the root cause of issues, and provide detailed analyses to developers
- Excellent communication skills are crucial as you work closely with developers and other team members. You must be able to communicate issues and explain test results clearly and concisely
- Certification for TMAP or ISTQB is a plus
- Basic knowledge of Tosca and/or Playwright is a plus
Who you will work with
You will join a hybrid cross-functional product team in the IT-Business & Intermediary department of ABN AMRO Verzekeringen. In this department, we create insurance products for intermediaries and direct customers. Our focus is on creating a great user experience, expanding our product offerings, and improving operational efficiency. Additionally, we are currently in a phase where we are replacing our current policy and claims administration system with a new system. Converting the current 'world' to the new one will have a significant impact on the testing activities this year and next year.
