Title: QA Lead

Location: Cincinnati, OH

Type: Fulltime// Permanent

Compensation: Base Salary + Benefits

Experience Required: 6-8 years

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Work with project team to ensure alignment of service validation and testing strategies with project methodologies, technical analysis of design and the ability to establish project test schedules

• Oversee QA function across sprint teams to ensure consistent practices, tools and outcomes are being achieved.

• Manage to the QA compliance to policy, standards, processes, procedures and guidelines for testing to be performed that is commensurate with the risk of the change being introduced.

• Facilitate risk based analysis on testing, automation and defects to ensure focus, prioritization and ensuring critical integration points with other processes and or systems are covered using application knowledge, architectural diagrams, data flow diagrams and development input to contribute to decisions.

• Manage disposition of work including defects, including obtaining acceptance of deferral and key decision points including leading the defect review boards. 

• Liaison between development managers, business analysts, test manager and manual functional testers.

• Plan and facilitate the End to End test cycles, coordinating business and IT resources to engage in the effort supporting features and functions

• Schedule, plan and support functional, UAT and end-to-end testing and regression testing.  

• Ability to maintain an intimate knowledge, understanding and expertise of the application and functionality 

• Coordinate the Test Data requirements by working with application team(s).

• Provide timely project/testing estimates from conceptual documents, user stories and/or requirements documents.

• Identify what testing/test cases should be candidates for testing automation

TECHNICAL SKILLS:

• Testing experience (Minimum 5 years practical experience)

o Experience using and creating automated tests

o Testing Web Services

o Experience creating and managing regression tests

o Experience with performance testing, analysis, and tools

o Experience working with SCM repositories

• Agile experience preferred

o Experience as a test lead/developer on a Scrum team

o Experience with Agile iterative development and testing

o Familiarity with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery

• Value-add experience

o Familiar with ROSCOE (past mainframe-based testing)

o Java skills

o Business Analyst / Technical writing experience
