About the Role:

We are seeking a QA Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing QA Testers who perform testing of desktop, mobile and web applications, ensuring that they meet both functional and performance standards. Β With agile practices and stakeholder engagement, you will drive successful execution and delivery of high-quality solutions to support our customers.Β 
You will be integral to ensure that our products are thoroughly tested and optimized before they reach our customers, working closely with developers and product teams to identify and resolve issues early in the development lifecycle.


Availability from 12:30pm IST to 9:30pm IST is a requirement for this role.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with team leaders to establish delivery plans for individual projects.
  • Work closely with development teams to architect technically sound solutions aligned with customer requirements.
  • Supervise team allocation and resource needs to ensure efficient project execution.
  • Enhance and maintain team processes, promoting continuous improvement.
  • Offer technical expertise and oversight throughout the development processes.
  • Manage the overall product timeline and facilitate day-to-day Agile functions.
  • Translate business priorities into clear and strategic objectives for the delivery team, ensuring alignment with the roadmap and business strategy.
  • Demonstrate exceptional communication skills in working with diverse cultures, time zones, and communication methods crucial for successful software development.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure smooth and customer-centric execution and delivery.
  • Ensure that the delivered products meet customer requirements and align with overall business objectives.
  • Provide support to the wider R&D team, enabling effective and collaborative project delivery.
  • Demonstrate efficient and effective communication skills.
  • Take ownership of challenging tasks and projects.
  • Prioritize work based on agreed-upon objectives.
  • Build effective relationships across the business, fostering a collaborative and constructive environment as an integral team member.
  • Operate with best practice product management disciplines.


Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience in manual and automated testing.
  • Experience with .NET, SQL, desktop application development, and Azure cloud technologies.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a keen eye for identifying defects and performance issues.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex software issues.
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and other QA team members.
  • Excellent knowledge of the modern web stacks with familiarity/exposure to desktop development.
  • Comfortable working in a team environment and across cultures and time zones.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • MS/BS degree in Computer Science, Mathematics or another technical degree.
  • Background in testing software for the manufacturing industry, with a solid understanding of CAD design, 2D/3D modeling, and drawing tools.
